Baking is what I love to do… I actually started out making cookies for holiday and other occasions for my family when I was 12 or so, about 15 years ago I started to bake and decorate cakes for birthdays. Now I love to decorate cakes and challenge myself to see what I can do next. Always trying new cupcake recipes and trying new decorating techniques.

Treasure Chest Cake

This is a treasure chest cake that was made for a pirate themed birthday party.
It is made in two sections of vanilla and chocolate cake and chocolate icing and filled with candy necklaces, ring pops, rock candy and chocolate gold coins as the treasure. The "sand" is made out of graham cracker crumbs.
